He is Bachelor of Engineering(Elec. & Comm.):1979, NIT Kurukshetra (Honours) PG Diploma in Scientific Instrumentation :1980, Kurukshetra University(1st Position) Keep up with Technical developments in Satellite communication,5G,AI,Machine language and deep study of Electromagnetic spectrum for commercial and scientific use including developments in Semiconductor Tech worldwide along with the Indian Regulatory procedures & developments in Telecom . Total working experience till date is 40 years in the fields of Education, Oil & Gas, Telecom & Information Technology elaborated as below: Worked as Lecturer in Polytechnic Chandigarh and taught UG students. Worked as Lecturer in National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra and taught Semiconductor & Electro Acoustics to UG students. Worked for 2 years in ONGC, Dehradun as Asstt. Executive Engineer in the area of Logging for oil & Gas and worked onshore & offshore installations. Joined the Department of Telecommunications in 1984 in ITS Group A and worked on various technical posts at Managerial level in the field of switching across various parts of the country. Worked in Kuwait on deputation through TCIL as Manager (Projects) for 5 years in new projects across the whole area of kuwait providing laying of outdoor plant and installation of Optical fibre cable for PTT Kuwait for Kuwait city. Have been working on various posts like Deputy GeneralManager,General Manager,Sr. General Manager(Quality Assurance), Principal General Manager and Chief General Manager (Northern Telecom Region) respectively in the Department of Telecommunications and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited and managed various areas like installation, switch maintenance, Material Management doing mega tenders of mobile network, Broadband & Transmission, Submarine cable bandwidth, Satellite Bandwidth from Antrix (ISRO) for remote areas of the country like Andeman Nicobar, remote regions of North East and J&K including Kargil and Leh for VSAT terminals to provide voice & data including internet through Thaicom. Provided Inmarsat terminals in the custody of Army and paramilitary for rural population of remote regions of Leh, Kargin & Ladakh. worked in above positions in Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Srinagar and maintained excellent relations with the Govt Agencies and Bureaucracy while working in various positions in BSNL on deputation from DOT. Retired from DOT in October 2016. Worked as Consultant to BSNL for 3 years for installation & Commissioning of Inmarsat Gateway for L Band mobile communication. Marketing of mobile Inmarsat Terminals for voice & low speed data to various agencies like Army, Navy, Airforce, Para Military forces like BSF, CRPF, ITBP, State Police departments of all the state Governments, Railways, Airport Authority of India, Ports, Fisheries departments of Kerala , Tamil Nadu, Gujrat and various industrial houses having works like mines , power plants in remote regions, shipping corporations to name a few. For establishing the Satellite Gateway in L band in Ghaziabad worked with various agencies including TRAI, DOT, Ministry of Home Affairs for various approvals and lawful interception, Civil Aviation Department and Bureau of Airport Security including customs & DG Shipping Mumbai, In total I have 40 years of Experience in various capacities in the department of Telecom & BSNL in the above areas.
