G. D. Gaiha, former chairman and managing director of Telecommunications Consultants India Ltd (TCIL) & Member Telecom Dispute Settlement Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) ..

Gaiha joined TCIL on 13th November 2002. An officer of Indian Telecom Service and has worked in different capacities in the Department of Telecommunications. Before joining TCIL, he was Director (Technical), MTNL Board New Delhi from 30th September 1998 to 12th November 2002.

During 36 years of his career, he has held many important posts in the Department of Telecommunication making him a person with immense depth of knowledge in the areas Multifarious technical assignments viz Technology forecasting, Technology policy, governing selection of switching and Transmission equipments industrial relation, personal management and HRD. He has also worked as ITU expert in Pyongyang, North Korea and Libya, training local professionals in digital transmission.
