He specialized in tackling mission-critical issues with a focus on delivering results within defined time frames employing solution-oriented strategies in the areas of Data Center & Application Operations, Software Development, Service Delivery, Implementation, Migrations, Transformation, Execution of large & complex projects, DevOps, Regulatory Affairs, Strategic Planning, Contract Management, Vendor Relationship Management, CyberSecurity, Mobile Number Portability (MNP), BSS & OSS systems, and CRM.
Graduated in Electronics & Communication Engineering from MBM Engineering College, Jodhpur, he began his illustrious career with the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Ministry of Communications in ITS cadre (Batch 1992) served for over 14 years thriving in the ever-changing realms of technology, regulations, and external landscapes. He worked on a variety of assignments in various parts of the country during service in the DoT, including BSS, OSS, NOC, National Long Distance Network Systems, Telecom Passive & Active Infrastructure, Local Access Network, GSM & CDMA Technologies, and Broadband Internet Access Systems, and contributed in Operations, Strategy Planning, Administration, Procurement, Vendor Relation Management, Implementation, and Customer Relationship.
After resigning from DoT in 2008, he joined the Reliance Communications Group. He was responsible for operations and user acceptance testing of Mediation, Revenue Assurance, Fraud Control System, CRM, and MNP systems of Reliance Communication for wireless and enterprise products. As part of the architecture and solutioning group, collaborated with Business, engineering team, and NOC, in designing the systems for E2E solutions of new services, products, business/& regulatory requirements. He was member of core groups for facilitating IT operation excellence including the Release Advisory Board and Change Advisory Board, which ensured change management across all IT systems & Data Centres, the Service Review Meet, an apex standing body for ensuring SLA management of all Business Processes & Operation Excellence, and the IT Ops Council, which approved all releases and changes in IT systems. He led successful implementation of complex multi system impacting projects in BSS namely GSM, 3G, MNP launch, Intra Circle Roaming, e-KYC for customer On-boarding.
In 2018, he joined SYNIVERSE TECHNOLOGIES, New Delhi, CTO (MNP), India & APAC Region. He was responsible for development & operations of Mobile Clearing House (MCH) including Data Centres for India, Philippines & Singapore and supporting around 20 different Telecom Operator end Gateways Systems for Mobile Number Portability in India & APAC region, worked closely with Government Agencies, Telecom Regulators and Telecom Service Providers.
Presently he is practising as Telecom & ICT consultant, Fractional Product Head, Project Mentor, and SME in driving success toward growth, transformation, and excellence across IT Operations, Data Centre, Regulatory, Service Delivery, CyberSecurity, BSS, OSS, Roaming, Number Portability, and Managed Services for IT & Telecom Projects.
He was awarded with President Club Award 2021 in Syniverse and “Sanchar Seva Padak” Best Employee for Uttaranchal, DoT in 2006. He is author of three technical papers published in DoT journal “TELECOMMUNICATION”.
